PHYSICAL. she isn't exactly pretty. but she's not entirely ugly, either. she's got her elegance and beauty in the middle. with a slight build, slender legs, and a small frame, you'd think her dainty. she's rather the opposite. she's tough, even if her form of fighting isn't exactly spectacular. but she's a fighter none-the less. never backing down from anything. her general appearance is rather plain, really. not exactly something to hold anyones attention. spyder is merely a sleek black morgan. in direct sunlight, her black pelt looked almost red. a dark bay, almost. but the most eerie look about her was the look in her eyes.
they are a very bright yellow, striking in colour. but what they hold is much colder. a simple blockade of emotions. a certain distrust of all beings. an uneasiness, too. she is a fairly hard mare to lay eyes on.
though despite all of this, the mares appearance resorts to a more.. rugged level. she isn't as well kept as some mares pride themselves on being. in fact, spyder doesn't honestly care how well cleaned she is. however having relatively short hairs on her body aid in her staying relatively well-groomed. even her mane and tail isn't a bouquet of flowers. a lot of it is a mess of tangles and the occasional leaf or stick protruding from it when walking past trees or brambles. but you honestly can't blame her on not caring much for that. it's hard to reach your head back to groom them, after all. and besides, who's really looking at appearances when the more important thing is to be wary of the disease riding the backs of innocent others?

PERSONALITY.
- HEADSTRONG -- she delves into things she probably shouldn't. gets herself carried away in the heat of the moment and regrets it once the damage has been dealt. its an impulse, something that just connects in her brain and is irreversible. even if she knows she shouldn't do something, she does it anyway. a retort, a lunge, anything. it comes naturally and spyder finds it impossible to hold herself back. or even apologize afterwards. her headstrong ways move her into tight, sticky situations that cause her more grief and irritation than it does satisfaction.
- ARROGANT -- spyder is a proud mare. finds herself fairly superior over others, even whilst being a nuisance in combat and an annoyance to others otherwise. she's also not one to take attitude or irritating tones from other horses, including her superiors. shes fairly haughty, and rather full of herself. she sets herself up high, even if she knows what she's trying to do isn't fit for her. she hates being called weak, or less useful than someone else. it's like a reflex. she doesn't usually mean what she says, though, sometimes the truth hurts.
- TEMPERAMENTAL -- she's moody. not exactly the nicest equine. probably the crankiest of all the elder horses around. but this isn't because she was born this way. or because she's getting old. she just doesn't like to hang around others. complains about catching some disease she makes up that she tries to pretend they have. that's usually her excuse for everything. but deep down she does know she needs company, even though she pushes people away with her horrible attitude.
- LOYAL -- to those that take the time to worm their way into her life, she becomes protective and fiercely loyal to. of course, you might think that because she's one of the horses who managed to escape the disease and are alive because of it, so she'll be friendly to those and grateful for her life. but she's really not. to her, you just need to be thankful she gives you more respect than those the wolves. she's really only loyal to those she cares about, technically speaking, herself. she tries to go by what others say. but sometimes.. rules have to be broken.
- RESPONSIBLE -- despite what you think, or have heard about spyder. she's a pretty responsible mare. she knows whats right and wrong. she knows when she's taken a wrong turn, even if she doesn't regret it. and most of all, she's on top of things. she brings herself up to be responsible for her own well-being.
- DISRESPECTFUL -- she looks up to her leaders, follows the rules in order to stay around, even protects them if worse comes to worst. but that doesn't mean she can't put a bad comment on something they say. she will accept something earnestly, but usually if something doesn't go right, you can bet you'll hear her loud voice carrying all over the land. her attitude often gets the best of her, and as a filly she got into plenty of trouble. many times, in fact. and if her parents were still around.. they'd be the go-to equines to learn about it.
- DEMANDING -- yes. of course this is true. have you not heard all the things said before? her voice and opinion goes into everything, so long as shes there to hear about it. without her, discussions would be rather bland i think. spyder is the type of mare that can't go without some snide remark in something. she's amusing, to be certain. that is, if you're the one watching from the side-lines, and not the one getting told by this temperamental horse, anyway.

HISTORY. whether or not this birth was planned or an accident didn't matter. spyder was born without incident, nor problems while her mother went into labor. other than the fact that the mare found herself in the open when the contractions began. at the time, the father was a very small importance in the foals life, seeing as he was a shadow of her mothers importance. spyder did however meet her father within the first months of her life. he was the reason she learned to survive, really. but in a sense, the job was a given. seeing as the mother had too much to do, rather than deal with the difficulty of teaching her child how to live on her own. in most cases, survival may have been something of a simple obstacle for other foals of spyders size. however she turned out to be a completely different story. she clung to the fact that her parents would be there for her forever.
and, thus lead to the torment of other older foals whom were already on their own. part of this is the reason why spyder is so foul and ill-spoken around other horses. but thats besides the point. the constant mockery of her older playmates urged on her will to try and leave her parents behind. her father seemed to have had a decent patience level, seeing as he was the caregiver of every fall the filly made, every mistake that cost her another hour's practice. however she does know how to survive, otherwise she wouldn't be around anymore.
though the black mare never did get the hang of maintaining long-lasting relationships and friendships. her attitude always got in the way, as well as the fact that her parents had actually left her behind, fled away from her in order to teach her how to be on her own. they'd told her more than once that she couldn't keep hanging on to them anymore. she could no longer trust, thus she fought and bickered with others. whatever the case, the mare is a relatively sour tongued horse. her attitude didn't change much when she realized her parents had died. she'd all but forgotten them.
she just no longer knows how to love or trust anyone anymore. let alone make friends.
