PELAGIA
bio ■ three years old ■ female ■ ocelot
I WAS SO MUCH YOUNGER YESTERDAY
EXCERPT FROM BIOGRAPHY: Those who only somewhat know Pelagia probably only see her for her sharp tongue and tendency to be a little suffocating, but those who are able to spend a lot of time with her know that her quips and reprimands do sincerely come from a place of love. [...] She loves rather fiercely (like a mother bear does her cubs), and her maternal side comes out frequently with everyone no matter their age, species, gender, or temperament.
FRIENDSHIPS
Pelagia, despite her genes telling her she's supposed to be a solitary animal, still loves having company and knowing a large range of others no matter their species, even if they are acquaintances that she only sees every once in a blue moon. She can be kind of difficult to get used to due to her somewhat overbearing personality, but she has a good sense of humor, and her quips are always entertaining, so long as the individual she's having a go with doesn't have thin skin.
HATESHIPS
It's highly likely for Pelagia to end up making as many enemies as she does friends. She's a little too much for some, and in the rare case that she really just doesn't like someone (either because they go out of their way to be rude to her or because they're hurtful to someone she cares about), she can be downright vicious. She is also infected with the disease, something that she is still somewhat in denial about (although she does reluctantly eat the Carnicula plant so she can prevent herself from suffering any symptoms). She desperately tries to live like any normal, healthy animal would, and that may be threatening, frustrating, and infuriating to some who wish she'd take herself and her weird powers deep into a cave and just stay there.
LOVESHIPS
Pelagia is fairly flirtatious, and it's mostly because she does indeed have an affinity for the opposite sex, no matter what their species (and she refuses to acknowledge that there might be anything weird or distasteful about that). She also very much likes the idea of having someone special in her life with whom she can stay and have kittens. She won't have them with someone just for the sake of having them, though; however, it is a real fear of hers that she may never find a trustworthy and compatible mate, let alone to die knowing that she never had kittens.
